United States Publication April 2022

The US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will hold a virtual meeting on May 18, 2022, to solicit public comments on issues arising from its Whistleblower Protection Program.

The meeting will be held from 1 pm to 4 pm ET via telephone and Zoom. Those interested in participating in the meeting must register free of charge in English or Spanish by May 11.

In particular, OSHA will focus on healthcare workers and is soliciting input on the following:

  1. How can OSHA deliver better whistleblower customer service?
  2. What assistance can OSHA provide to explain the agency’s whistleblower laws to workers and employers?
  3. What can OSHA do to ensure that workers are protected from retaliation for raising concerns related to COVID-19?

Written comments may be submitted by May 11 at the Federal eRulemaking Portal using Docket No. OSHA-2018-0005.
