On September 3, The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC filed two proposals with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, putting forward amendments to its initial and continued listing requirements that focus on heightening financial standards and implementing stricter suspension and delisting procedures.

In addition, Nasdaq has proposed new initial listing requirements targeting Chinese companies.
