The code of practice for the authorisation and supervision of collective defined contribution (CDC) schemes has been laid before Parliament by the Pensions Regulator. The code will set out how trustees can apply for authorisation and how the statutory authorisation criteria will be applied by the Regulator.
The Regulator believes that this keeps it on track for the code to be in force ahead of August 1, 2022, when trustees will be able to apply for authorisation to operate a CDC scheme.
