FCA: Handbook Notice No. 29 – Changes to Listing Rules and DTRs
On January 29, 2016 the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) published Handbook Notice No. 29 and the Listing Rules and Disclosure and Transparency Rules (Miscellaneous Amendments) Instrument 2016, with other instruments, which makes changes to the Listing Rules and Disclosure and Transparency Rules (DTRs) following the FCA’s September 2015 consultation paper, CP15/28.
The Instrument makes the following amendments:
- it amends the Listing Rules’ cancellation provisions to maintain investor protection, including deleting LR 5.2.11DR;
- it brings the DTRs into line with the EU Accounting Directive; and
- it makes miscellaneous changes to remove and update out of date references in the Listing Rules and DTRs.
The Instrument came into force on January 29, 2016.
