Hi, my name is Dimitri Sofianopoulos and I am a partner in our Athens office and head of our Greek practice.

A number of scenarios and possible outcomes are being discussed by politicians, economists and the media in relation to current problems in the Eurozone, including the possibility of a member state exit and in particular, unfortunately, the likelihood or otherwise of an exit by my home country Greece.

We cannot predict what the outcome will be to the current problems in the Eurozone and any solutions or outcomes will in any case be mainly politically and economic driven.

However we understand that the continued uncertainty and speculation over the Eurozone presents a number of challenges for our clients and their businesses and we have been providing legal expertise on some of these issues for clients.

We are the largest international practice in Greece recognized as a market leader and for the excellence of our legal practice by a number of legal awards. With a team of dual English and Greek qualified lawyers, our Greek practice is in a unique position to offer our clients legal expertise in relation to the Eurozone issues and scenarios relating to Greece. If you have questions or concerns in relation to your business that you would like to discuss in more detail please contact myself or another partner in our Athens office and we will be happy to assist, as we can.
