The Texas Access to Justice Commission (TAJC) recently honored Norton Rose Fulbright with its Champion of Justice Award, recognizing the firm's outstanding fundraising efforts as part of the statewide Justice for All Campaign.

Earlier this year, several law firms participated in the Champion of Justice Firm Competition, collecting contributions supporting organizations that provide legal support and services to those in need. Funds raised are distributed through grants by the TAJC and the Texas Bar Foundation.

Winners are determined by tabulating total contributions made by the firm's lawyers in support of the campaign. Norton Rose Fulbright was recognized in the "large size" category, collecting one of the largest donations overall and lawyer participation.

TAJC—the leading source of legal aid in Texas—was created by the Supreme Court of Texas in 2001. Its purpose is to develop and implement initiatives to expand access and enhance justice quality in civil legal matters for low-income Texans.

The complete list of winners is featured in the October issue of the Texas Bar Journal.
