Norton Rose Fulbright ramps up for energy transition, hiring Mary Anne Aldred as a Strategic Advisor

Former Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of the Ontario Energy Board, Mary Anne’s in-depth industry knowledge and experience will enhance the firm’s capability to deliver exceptional client support and counsel, as Norton Rose Fulbright prepares for a rapidly changing energy landscape in Canada and globally.

Mary Anne has extensive experience in the energy sector, gained both as internal regulatory counsel at a large Utility and through many years spent as General Counsel and ultimately Chief Operating Officer at the Ontario Energy Board. This range of experience enables Mary Anne to offer energy sector clients an understanding of their day-to-day operations and regulatory needs,  a deep understanding of the requirements and perspective of the regulator, and practical full-service solutions. She will work with clients to assist them with their regulatory initiatives, goals and challenges.
