Chadbourne & Parke LLP is pleased to announce today that the firm has launched an Ibero-America Private Clients Practice.
Operating within the firm’s Private Client Group, the Ibero-America Private Clients Practice focuses on providing legal advice and support to individuals, families, family offices and their holdings who have an interest in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, as they maintain or look to establish a US, multijurisdictional or global presence.
The Ibero-America Private Clients Practice’s multicultural team has a multijurisdictional base of operations, with offices in United States, Latin America and Europe. It customizes the comprehensive services offered by the firm on a one-stop-shop basis. The practice is well-positioned to assist clients in their own language, with a clear understanding of local customs and legal systems.
“As the world becomes increasingly connected, in both our business and personal lives, multijurisdictional individuals, families and businesses having a connection with Spain, Portugal and Latin America face unique challenges as they maintain or look to establish a US or global presence,” head of the Ibero-America Private Clients Practice Clara Krivoy said. “Our global platform allows us to assist such individuals, families and businesses in making well-informed decisions in virtually all areas of law, including global tax planning, trusts and estates, dispute resolution, regulatory matters, intellectual property, employment, corporate, financings, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital markets and legal compliance. This new practice will effectively support our clients’ business and personal plans for growth, as well as their philanthropic endeavors.”
The new Ibero-America Private Clients Practice will complement Chadbourne’s well-established Private Clients and market-leading Latin America Practices, which are active in virtually every country in Latin America across a broad array of disciplines.
