Norton Rose Fulbright scores perfect 100 on 2021 Corporate Equality Index

Global Press release - Firm January 28, 2021

For the sixth consecutive year, Norton Rose Fulbright received a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's (HRC) Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality.

Norton Rose Fulbright earned the highest score and received the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality in the 2021 report. The firm is one of 767 major US businesses to garner such a designation.

The 2021 CEI evaluates companies' LGBTQ-related policies and practices in categories including non-discrimination policies, employment benefits, supporting an inclusive culture and corporate social responsibility and responsible citizenship. Norton Rose Fulbright's efforts in satisfying all of CEI's criteria led to a 100 percent ranking.

Alphonso David, HRC President, commented:

"From the previously unimaginable impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, to a long overdue reckoning with racial injustice, 2020 was an unprecedented year. Yet, many businesses across the nation stepped up and continued to prioritize and champion LGBTQ equality."

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation is the largest civil rights organization striving towards equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people. HRC promotes and ensures equality and fairness for LGBTQ Americans.

Companies rated in the CEI include Fortune magazine's 500 largest publicly traded businesses, AmLaw 200 law firms and hundreds of publicly and privately held mid-to-large-sized businesses.
