Norton Rose Fulbright advises Trinity Mirror on £220m acquisition of Local World

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright advised UK newspaper publisher Trinity Mirror on its acquisition of Local World.

Trinity Mirror has bought out the 80% it does not already own in the Local World in a deal that values the business at about £220 million. Local World owns 83 print titles including 16 dailies and 36 paid-for weeklies. The deal makes Trinity Mirror the UK’s biggest regional newspaper publisher.
