Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa is pleased to announce its role in advising Prescient Investment Management Proprietary Limited, acting as agent of the Prescient Clean Energy and Infrastructure Debt Fund Trust, in the provision of a significant equity finance facility to JS Virginia Proprietary Limited. The purpose of this facility is to finance JS Virginia's equity contributions to its Round 6 renewable energy project company, marking a significant stride in South Africa's renewable energy sector.

Under the terms of the transaction, Prescient Investment Management Proprietary Limited, acting as agent, has entered into a significant equity finance facility with JS Virginia Proprietary Limited. This facility will position JS Virginia as a 15% shareholder in the Round 6 renewable energy project company. The facility is underpinned by multiple layers of security, ensuring a robust financial framework for all parties involved.
