US practice groups lauded in 2016 Legal 500 Latin America guide

Recognition September 8, 2016

The Legal 500 has recognized two US practice groups and several of the groups’ key lawyers as preeminent practitioners in the 2016 Legal 500 Latin America guide.

The US international arbitration group was recognized for its work in Latin American arbitrations. Legal 500 noted that Global Co-Head of International Arbitration Mark Baker, Houston partner Kevin O’Gorman and foreign legal consultant Lucy Greenwood are “active in international arbitration, with strong expertise in the energy, construction and natural resources sectors.”

Legal 500 also recognized our US project finance group and praised Washington, DC partners Jeffrey Goodman, Sarah Devine, Jeremy Hushon and Houston partner George “Ned” Crady for their ability to obtain “game changing results” and for working “seamlessly with other law firms and professionals on joint multi-law-firm efforts.”

The Legal 500 series has been in publication for more than 20 years and provides worldwide coverage of legal service providers in more than 100 countries. Rankings are based on firm submissions, which highlight significant matters handled during the last year, as well as feedback from thousands of interviews conducted with lawyers and clients throughout the world.
