Our Canadian team won Infrastructure & Projects Deal of the Year and Commercial Litigation Team of the Year at the 2025 Canadian Law Awards.
The awards were announced at an in-person gala in Toronto on May 7, celebrating the nation's leading law firms, in-house legal teams and lawyers for their achievements and outstanding work in more than 25 categories across multiple disciplines.

Infrastructure & Projects Deal of the Year – Coastal GasLink Pipeline Limited Partnership's C$7.15 billion refinancing
Our Calgary office, with assistance from partners in Montreal and Washington, D.C., acted for the bookrunners and agents in connection with Coastal GasLink Pipeline Limited Partnership’s record-breaking C$7.15 billion senior secured note offering.

Commercial Litigation Team of the Year – Aquino v. Bondfield Construction Co., 2024 SCC 31
Our Toronto office acted as counsel to Ernst & Young Inc., the CCAA monitor of Bondfield Construction Company Limited, in an effort to recover funds from a former director and officer of Bondfield and his co-conspirators who had carried out a false invoice scheme.
The team included Evan Cobb, Stephen Taylor, Matthew Lau and Rowan Weaver.
