Norton Rose Fulbright strengthens banking and finance team with new partner hire

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has announced the appointment of new banking and finance partner, James Collis, to its London office.

James - who joins the firm from Squire Patton Boggs - is an experienced acquisition and leveraged finance lawyer, with an extensive portfolio of advising both borrowers and lenders on investment grade and sub-investment grade transactions. 

In addition to his leveraged finance practice, James has experience working on restructuring and distressed finance matters, as well as with wider financing techniques, including lending to funds and general banking work for multi-national clients.

Prior to joining Squire Patton Boggs, James spent all his career at Ashurst, where he practised in both London and Paris, and served as the firm’s managing partner.
