Norton Rose Fulbright further grows national corporate team with senior Sydney hires

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright today announced further appointments in Australia for its national corporate team, welcoming another new partner and a special counsel with deep industry and cross-border experience.

Jasmine Sprange

Clayton Utz’s Jasmine Sprange will join as a Sydney corporate partner, bringing with her vast experience in domestic and cross-border M&A across the financial services, infrastructure and real estate sectors.
 
Her M&A work extends to corporates and funds, acquisitions and restructuring, regulatory issues involving the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and Foreign Investment Review Board, and joint ventures. She has advised some of Australia's largest financial services groups along with global private equity firms and financial sponsors. Ms Sprange will join in October this year.

Paul O’Donnell

Ashurst’s Paul O’Donnell is another new hire for the Sydney corporate team, specialising in tax. Joining as a special counsel, he has expertise in income tax; structured, asset and project financing; and debt restructuring.
 
Mr O’Donnell also has significant experience advising on the corporate tax affairs of Australian and foreign owned banking groups, with an emphasis on business and investment banking and funds management. He will also join in October this year.
 
These two new corporate hires follow the appointment of experienced corporate M&A partners Meriel Steadman.
