London team advises Perella Weinberg Partners on £110 million offer for IDS

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Perella Weinberg Partners as financial adviser to PerkinElmer, Inc on its recommended cash offer for Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings plc (IDS). The offer values IDS at £110 million (382p per share). 

Immunodiagnostic Systems is a specialist producer of manual and automated diagnostic testing kits and instruments for the clinical and research markets.

PerkinElmer, a multinational corporation headquartered in the United States, is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and is a component of the S&P 500 Index. Pelican is a leading provider of products, services and solutions for the diagnostics, life sciences, food and applied markets.

The team was led by London-based corporate partner Paul Whitelock with support from associate Florence Childs. 

In the last year, Paul also led the team advising Perella Weinberg Partners as financial adviser to PerkinElmer on its £296 million offer for Horizon Discovery.
