Two partners recognized at Texas Lawyer’s 2016 Professional Excellence Award ceremony

On September 13, Texas Lawyer honored Otway Denny with its Lifetime Achievement Award and Shafeeqa Giarratani with its Lawyers on the Rise accolade. The 2016 Professional Excellence Award ceremony took place at the Belo Mansion in Dallas.
Texas Lawyer acknowledged Denny, one of only 18 lawyers statewide to have received this honor, for his distinguished career within the Texas legal community. The publication stated that honorees in the Lifetime Achievement series stand out as “lawyers who have made their mark on the legal profession in the Lone Star State.”
Giarratani is one of just 20 Texas lawyers who have been lauded for being one of the state’s “attorneys 40 and under, who have established a record of accomplishments and demonstrated that they are top contributors to the practice of law and their communities.”
US Managing Partner Linda Addison received the publication’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015.
