Santo Manna is a senior counsel based in the New York office, and is admitted to practice law in New York and Ontario. A leading technology lawyer, Santo provides legal counsel and business advice in all areas of technology and IP law and contracting, with particular focus in Fintech and payments.
Santo has a broad range of experience representing financial institutions and technology providers, both emerging and mature, and advises on technology contracts of all types (software/SaaS and cloud computing; implementation/integration; outsourcing; data acquisition and licensing; open source) as well as development and deployment of financial, blockchain and other technologies.
Over his 25-year career, he has negotiated hundreds of complex technology transactions worldwide, including with Fortune 500 banks and corporates, investment managers and technology providers, in addition to supporting mergers and acquisitions and venture capital deals.
Santo's dual licensing, coupled with his skillsets and extensive hands-on experience, support a thriving Canada/US cross-border practice and enable him to meet the needs of clients in both countries.

Prior to joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Santo worked primarily as a General Counsel to several notable companies, most recently a large public financial technology company headquartered in Toronto and New York. He also served as partner and director of a venture capital and consulting firm based in Montreal.
