Biography

Francesca Cardillo focuses her practice on a variety of transactions to facilitate the effective management, transfer and commercialization of intellectual property. She has drafted, negotiated and counseled clients regarding software development, software as a service, and promotion agreements; supply, distribution, and consulting agreements; patent, trademark and copyright licenses; distribution and equipment trial agreements; and confidentiality and settlement agreements.

In addition, Francesca has counseled clients in the industries of telecommunications, transportation and logistics, medical devices, chemical manufacturing and online retail. Francesca has been seconded with a large, international technology company and has been recognized for her ability to counsel clients with clear and practical guidance and to serve as a knowledgeable and effective partner to business-side teams.

Earlier in her career, Francesca served as a technology transactions associate for an Am Law 50 law firm, an intellectual property transactions associate for a boutique intellectual property law firm based in Chicago. She has also served as a legal intern to the Honorable Justice Steven H. David of the Indiana Supreme Court.
