Robert Sultan is a corporate and commercial lawyer based in Melbourne. 

Robert has significant experience interacting with clients at senior management and board level as well as managing and controlling M&A and equity capital markets projects. He has worked on and supervised a wide range of corporate law matters including general corporate and commercial advice regarding Chapter 6 and related provisions of the Corporations Act, Takeovers Panel applications, ASX Listing and Operating Rules, and other legislation.

As a consequence of his work in M&A and membership of the Corporations Act Committee of the Law Council of Australia, Robert is well known to and respected by investment bankers, other lawyers and key regulators including the executive of the Takeovers Panel, ASIC and ASX. His expertise and reputation have made him a natural first stop for clients, some of whom he has worked with for more than 20 years. 

Robert is a former member of the Takeovers Panel. He is also a contributing editor to Australian Corporate Practice and has been recognised in the M&A and Corporate categories of Best Lawyers in Australia.
