Natalie Aprea is an insurance lawyer based in Sydney.
Natalie has more than 12 years' experience specialising in medical liability litigation, with broader expertise in public liability, professional indemnity and general insurance matters. She has been a member of the firm's insurance healthcare team for 10 years.
Natalie represents medical practitioners in both the public and private sectors, allied health professionals and facilities and healthcare companies in large and complex litigation, from pre-litigation through to alternative dispute resolution and hearing.
The focus of Natalie's current practice is in the defence of medical practitioners for the Medical Indemnity Protection Society and Visiting Medical Officers for NSW Health. She also represents allied health professionals and regularly provides advice to a major telehealth company.
Natalie's medical negligence litigation practice is primarily within the jurisdictions of the New South Wales Supreme Court and District Courts. She also has experience practicing in Western Australia and the Australian Capital Territory, in addition to defending medical practitioners in disciplinary matters and within the jurisdiction of the Coroner's Court. Natalie's involvement with Coronial Inquests has meant that she has acquired specialist knowledge of Coronial processes and procedures, and is often sought out to provide advice on such matters.
