Biography

Jacqueline Dowling is a real estate lawyer based in Melbourne.

She has experience in large-scale commercial and residential acquisitions and dispositions, energy and infrastructure matters, commercial and retail leasing, solar and wind farm developments, development agreements, joint ventures, property due diligence and general property matters.

During her time with the firm, Jacqueline has advised some of Australia's leading commercial clients, including developers, financial institutions and joint ventures on complex projects involving multiple work streams across different practice groups. She has assisted with a number of funds through and development agreements for office building, hotel developments and redevelopments, assisting with the due diligence process through to completion.

Jacqueline acted on the redevelopment of the Bethlehem Hospital in Caulfield, Victoria as a combined multi-storey retirement village, aged care facility and hospital.

Jacqueline advised Balmain on the sale of a 50% share of a leasehold interest in an office building above platforms 13 and 14 at Southern Cross Station, Melbourne. She also advised on the sale of Spencer Street Outlet Centre, which is also located at Southern Cross Station. 

Jacqueline has also acted on the acquisition and disposition of a number of transactions for major clients including RBA, GM Holden and Stockland, including advising on property-related aspects and the due diligence process.
