Lisa Lee Lewis is Head of Advisory of our Financial Services Regulatory Compliance Consulting team.

She has a vast range of experience in providing technical and practical advice to help clients meet their specific regulatory and compliance obligations. This includes: supporting firms implementing regulatory change; leading s166 reviews; performing independent reviews; developing, evaluating and improving compliance policies and procedures; monitoring programmes and risk frameworks; creating and analysing management information and board reports; developing and delivering bespoke training for management and staff; and liaising with regulators.

Lisa joined the practice from a global financial services firm where she had responsibility for a wide range of regulatory compliance matters. She has advised on many aspects of regulatory compliance and financial crime for numerous years and has assisted a variety of financial institutions, ranging from asset managers, banks, exchanges and brokers to commodity and consumer credit firms. Her knowledge spans all aspects of regulatory change affecting the UK and EU financial services sector. She has a broad understanding across a range of regulatory developments, including MiFID II, MAR, SM&CR, Brexit, money laundering and consumer credit. She also has detailed working knowledge and an excellent understanding of the FCA/PRA handbooks, regulatory processes and procedures. 

As a solicitor and compliance specialist, she is a focused advisor with a strong financial services compliance background. Lisa has a demonstrable track record in analysing complex and changing regulatory issues, and provides practical advice and solutions to regulatory risk and compliance.
