Biography
John Pivnicki has extensive experience in chemistry and pharmaceuticals. His practice currently focuses on drafting and prosecuting patent applications, with an emphasis on preparing rebuttals to examination reports issued by examiners of the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, the United States Patent and Trademark Office and European patent offices.
Mr. Pivnicki has vast industrial experience in the pharmaceutical, petrochemical and metallurgical industries. Special expertise includes the piloting of new processes and their scale-up from the laboratory to the pilot plant and finally to commercial scale. Mr. Pivnicki has further specialized in the selection of construction materials in hostile engineering environments.
