Andrea Ashton has been practising in trademark prosecution for over 10 years and has extensive experience in all areas of trademark prosecution, including providing opinions and advice on the registrability of trademarks and filing and prosecuting trademark applications in Canada. Ms. Ashton works with clients in non-use expungement proceedings and matters before the Trademarks Opposition Board. She is also involved in administering a number of trademark portfolios, including coordinating and maintaining international filings.

Ms. Ashton also assists with commercial transactions by conducting due diligence searches, preparing assignment documentation and licence agreements, and assisting with filing these documents in the appropriate offices.
