Biography
Anna Wingfield joined our Calgary office in 2011 as an articling student and now practises primarily in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions and private equity. She also assists clients with corporate governance, continuous disclosure, regulatory compliance and general corporate matters.

- Canadian Pacific Railway Limited with the renewal of its C$2.5 billion base shelf prospectus and the secondary offering of common shares of Canadian Pacific Railway Limited by certain funds managed by Pershing Square Capital Management L.P. for US$835 million
- Gibson Energy Inc. on its $350 million notes offering
- A syndicate of underwriters in connection with a $200 million notes offering of Parkland Fuel Corporation
- A syndicate of underwriters in connection with a $132 million bought-deal offering of common shares of Freehold Royalties Ltd.
- Niko Resources Ltd. on a bought-deal offering of common shares and notes for C$222 million and concurrent offering of common shares for C$50 million
- Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. in its US$500 million acquisition of C&C Energia
- Aqua-Pure Ventures Inc. on its private placement, which raised US$2.2 million from arm’s‑length parties
