Biography
Eric Malysa practises corporate and commercial law, with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and a secondary focus on capital market transactions and securities. Eric has experience advising both domestic and international clients on a variety of public and private M&A transactions, corporate restructuring transactions, private equity and venture capital transactions, corporate governance, shelf prospectus equity and debt offerings, continuous disclosure, regulatory compliance, due diligence and general corporate matters.
Eric is located in Vancouver and advises on matters in both Alberta and British Columbia. Prior to relocating to our Vancouver office in 2020, Eric first joined our Calgary office as a summer student in 2014 and articled in 2015. During his articles, Eric completed a secondment in the legal department of Imperial Oil Limited where he gained valuable commercial in-house legal experience. Prior to joining us, Eric held positions in finance, strategy and market research with public and private international corporations.
