Isla is a Risk and Compliance, as well as General Counsel Director, based in Johannesburg.

She gained practical commercial and management experience in the FMCG industry prior to joining the practice in 2011.

She assists as internal counsel to the practice, providing legal advice on a broad range of compliance related issues. These include issues such as ethics, anti-bribery, corruption, conflicts of interest and client acceptance.

Isla has assisted in developing and implementing compliance programmes and training employees on issues related to Risk and Compliance as well as Global Practice Standards.

Isla holds an LLM degree from the University of Pretoria as well as a BConsumer Science degree and a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
