Markus Müller



Markus Müller is a commercial/technology lawyer based in Munich. He has extensive knowledge in the fields of information technology and general contract law.

He focuses on national and cross- border business process and IT outsourcing projects, being likewise experienced in the project management of large-scale outsourcing projects (comprising the responsibility for the tendering, negotiating and contracting).

Markus is experienced in the drafting and negotiating of software license, software development, IT services and cooperation agreements and is particularly familiar with German and EU data protection and privacy law. In addition, he has broad experience in copyright, telecommunication and software law.  

He assists mid-sized and global enterprises from the industrial, retail and service sectors in general civil law matters, giving comprehensive advice in all operative issues, in particular in sales, purchasing, logistics, R&D and IT.

Markus has a strong business acumen owing to his substantial experience with international technology companies such as Nokia Siemens Networks and Siemens AG. He understands the customer’s needs and expectations from both legal and business perspectives.   

Markus studied law at the Universities of Passau, Lausanne and Munich. Before joining us, Markus worked in a boutique law firm specialised in information technology and intellectual property law. He is a native German speaker and is fluent in English and French.
