Pamela Cyr chairs the student committee and manages the recruitment, supervision and professional development of summer and articling students. Ms. Cyr also works closely with our associates. She is responsible for associate performance management, mentorship and training as well as lateral recruitment.
Prior to joining us, Ms. Cyr was the assistant dean, career services at the Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. She is also an experienced lawyer, having summered, articled and practised commercial litigation for seven years, first at a national firm and then at a prominent litigation boutique in Vancouver.
Ms. Cyr has been involved with the Association for Legal Career Professionals since 2008. She has led presentations about implementing wellness programs in law schools and law firms, and on preparing law students for private practice.
