Kim Frezell has over 19 years of experience working in corporate finance and securities. She is the senior paralegal of the firm's Vancouver corporate finance and securities practice group. Kim acquired her private and public company experience working with leading Canadian corporate and securities law firms as well as in-house as corporate secretary with other public company groups.
Kim has in-depth knowledge of continuous disclosure and corporate compliance matters for reporting issuers, as well as a wide range of experience with private and public company transactions including private placement financings, initial public offerings, listings on Canadian exchanges, capital pool company transactions, short-form offerings, reverse takeovers, acquisitions and corporate restructurings. She works closely with our public company clients to assit with their annual general meetings and annual filings. Kim has worked with various venture and non-venture level companies in the mining, oil and gas, and technology industries.
Kim stays current with securities legislation and policy, and continuous disclosure and corporate governance requirements by attending courses and seminars offered by The Continuing Legal Education Society of BC, the TSX group, the BC Securities Commission and the Canadian Society of Corporate Secretaries.
