Biography

John Bromley practises primarily in the area of maritime law. He has experience in all levels of courts in British Columbia as well as the Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Mr. Bromley has also been counsel in numerous mediation and arbitrations and has acted as an arbitrator.

Mr. Bromley advises on charterparties and contracts of affreightment. His long experience in the maritime field enables him to give prompt, practical advice on maritime law issues. He has acted for marine insurers from all over the world as well as many of the P & I clubs. He also represents clients in the marine industry.
