Nicole Cutura is a paralegal in the intellectual property group of our Vancouver office. Having worked in intellectual property since 2005, Nicole has a scope of knowledge that includes Canadian, US, PCT, European and foreign patent prosecution, industrial design filings and prosecution, as well as Canadian and foreign trademark filing, prosecution and opposition. She assists our lawyers with all aspects of patent, industrial design and trademark prosecution, including filing patent, design and trademark applications in various jurisdictions; preparing and filing formal documents with patent offices to complete filing requirements; recording transfers and changes in ownership against intellectual property portfolios; liaising with foreign associates and clients; monitoring the status of client intellectual property portfolios, and ensuring all deadlines are met up to the grant of a patent or design, or registration of a trademark.
Prior to joining us, Nicole worked as a paralegal at both national and Vancouver-area boutique intellectual property firms, where she gained experience and knowledge in the area of intellectual property prosecution.
