Kayla Strong is an associate on the dispute resolution and litigation team practising general commercial litigation. She assists clients and senior lawyers on a broad range of civil matters, including issues relating to insurance, breach of contract, negligence and property disputes. She has appeared before the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Kayla also practices in the areas of healthcare and life sciences. She advises hospitals and health authorities on all aspects of the law that affect their operations, including service contracts, risk management, privacy issues, hospital privileges, and related medical staff issues, including appeals of privileging decisions to the Hospital Appeal Board.
Kayla was called to the bar in 2017 after articling with us and clerking for Chief Justice Robert Bauman at the Court of Appeal for British Columbia. She worked for national firms in Calgary and New York during law school. She was awarded the Law Society Gold Medal and Prize on graduating from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia.
