Biography
James Weirick is a commercial, construction and infrastructure lawyer based in Sydney.
James has experience reviewing, documenting and negotiating a wide range of standard form and bespoke contracts including complex supply agreements, outsourcing agreements, construction contracts, consultancy agreements, services contracts and EPC and PPP documentation.
James also has experience drafting and advising on various ancillary project documents including heads of agreement, tender documentation, early works documentation, licensing agreements and guarantees. James also has a particular understanding of indemnity and risk management issues having previously worked as a specialist insurance and risk lawyer.
James has undertaken secondments at a major local government organisation, a large financial institution and a listed infrastructure supplier which has given him broad experience in directly advising business units on major commercial and construction matters.
