Biography

Katie Hayes joined the Calgary office in 2018 as a litigation and collections paralegal. She provides support to the litigation department through management of paper and electronic records. Katie has experience in e-Discovery, maintaining files and ensuring relevant material is entered into database programs, as well as preparing documents for questioning, mediation and trial. She also has experience managing complex litigation matters and preparing Alberta Court of Appeal filings.

Katie also assists with firm and client collections matters from Writ registrations and renewals to enforcing judgments by preparing the necessary court and Alberta Personal Property Registry documents. She also prepares interest calculations and performs various searches related to collections and enforcement.
