Biography
Jacinta Magazzu is a real estate lawyer based in Melbourne. She advises on all aspects of property development and has experience in significant commercial, retail and industrial property acquisitions, disposals, retail and commercial leasing and general property matters.
Jacinta acts for a diverse range of clients including corporate and institutional landowners, government departments and property developers. She is committed to working with clients to achieve the best possible commercial outcomes and is passionate about continuing to seek an understanding of the business operations of her clients, in order to provide the most effective solutions in light of her client's commercial objectives and risk profile.

- Victorian School Building Authority – acting on numerous acquisitions for the VSBA (Victorian School Building Authority) in their acquisition of school sites, assisting with their leasing and providing general property law advice.
- ESR – acting on behalf of ESR in its capacity as landlord on complex agreements for lease and leasing matters across several new industrial estates, along with assisting with freehold acquisitions and leaseback arrangements.
- Department of Housing – advising in relation to the property delivery of the Big Housing Build which together provides for the delivery of more than one thousand new social housing projects all delivered under various Whole of Government construction contracts;
- Apeiron Homes – acting on the development, acquisition and operations of SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) over two precincts, including providing advice on residential tenancy arrangements.
- Next Story Group – acting on the acquisition of a completed hotel development in Southbank for the launch of the "Ink" hotel brand, along with the subsequent operator lease arrangements.
- AirTrunk – acting for the data centre operator in their acquisition of several data centre sites in Victoria, along with providing general property law advice including advice on relocation or extinguishment of encumbrances as required and identifying risks raised through due diligence;
- Spotless Group – assisting in the sale of freehold property as part of the broader business sale of assets by the Spotless Group, including advice on assignment provisions and leasing arrangements.
- JR Duty Free – assisting in advising on the property components relating to the disposal of leasehold interests in stores and providing general leasing advice.
- Atira – acting in the sale of the Atira student accommodation portfolio controlled by funds manager Blue Sky to Scape Australia, including assist with cross-jurisdictional advice.
