Biography

Natalie is a lawyer in the Litigation team in our Perth office.

Natalie has extensive experience across a broad range of disputes, with a focus on large-scale disputes for clients in the energy and resources sector.  She has advised and acted for both Australian and international clients in Supreme Court and Federal Court proceedings, and in domestic and international arbitrations. 

Natalie also advises on anti-bribery and compliance issues and she has conducted confidential investigations into bribery allegations.

  • Acted for a major international energy company in Western Australian Supreme Court proceedings concerning breaches of a power purchase agreement related to the construction of a power plant in the Pilbara.
  • Acted for a global oil and gas major in defence of claims made in an international arbitration arising out of a large-scale LNG project.
  • Acted for a group of oil and gas majors in two confidential gas price review arbitrations.
  • Representing a State government in two Federal Court of Australia class actions.
  • Represented an Australian-listed US onshore oil and gas producer in South Australian Supreme Court proceedings concerning breaches of a joint venture agreement related to petroleum exploration licenses.*
  • Represented a global engineering and construction company in a large-scale domestic arbitration concerning contractual disputes arising from the construction of the Gorgon LNG project.*
  • Represented a leading global mining and resources company in a large-scale complex dispute in the Western Australian Supreme Court concerning contractual breaches related to mining tenements in the Pilbara.*
