Jason Logendra is a competition lawyer based in London. He is part of the regulatory team, specialising in investigations, economic regulation and competition and regulatory litigation.
Jason focuses on competition and regulatory matters and, in particular, advises firms on their engagement with economic regulators and appeal bodies. Jason has extensive experience advising on market reviews in sectors where national regulatory bodies are attempting to introduce or simulate competition.
Prior to joining the firm, Jason was responsible for the communications regulatory practice at Sky, the second largest fixed telecoms provider in the UK. He advised on a range of market reviews and regulatory investigations, including advising the CEO and CFO on strategies for engaging with regulators and challenging adverse decisions. His work ranged from initial engagement with regulators and government bodies when they are scoping their projects, to responding to consultations, engaging in industry workshops, working with internal and external economists, and engaging in litigation.
Jason has also worked with a number of other businesses and national regulators on effective market liberalisation and balancing regulators' objectives of reducing consumer charges whilst ensuring that operators have the ability and incentive to invest in developing their infrastructure. This includes advising on arbitration and litigation before the Competition Appeal Tribunal and Court of Appeal.
