Her experience includes advising corporate officers and insolvency practitioners, secured and unsecured creditors (such as financial institutions and funds) and debtors in relation to commercial disputes, debt recovery, security enforcement, insolvent trading, unfair preference claims, and other general bankruptcy and insolvency procedures.

Seraijah has broad exposure to restructuring engagements, including advising as follows:

• directors in relation to available restructuring options and their duties and liabilities;

• secured creditors in relation to their security position and restructuring and enforcement options and strategy;

• financial institutions in relation to their obligations when dealing with financially distressed customers and in-line with the new Banking Code of Practice;
