Biography
Alexander Baer practises in the energy group, where he assists clients and senior lawyers on matters involving the regulation of public utilities, environmental law and aboriginal law. Alex has acted for clients in regulatory proceedings before the British Columbia and Alberta utilities commissions, in proceedings before the British Columbia Environmental Appeal Board, in an arbitration under Chapter 11 of NAFTA regarding a dispute over developing a resource project, and in proceedings before the British Columbia Supreme Court.
