Damian is a projects and finance lawyer based in London. He commenced his career in Mexico in 2014 before transferring to London in 2021. His practice focuses on advising and negotiating legal aspects of transactions and projects within the energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors.

Before joining the firm, he worked as in-house counsel for Mexico’s national oil company. He also has previous experience in international law firms, where he has acted for commercial lenders, sponsors and offtakers. Damian has provided advice throughout the whole life cycle of projects (including planning, funding, construction and operation phases, as well as M&A).

Damian has an extensive experience in emerging markets. He has provided advice for the structuring and development of industrial facilities and oil and gas, petrochemical, power and water supply infrastructure across Latin America.

 Damian is fluent in English and Spanish.
