Richard Tyner joined the firm's Riyadh office in 2007.
As senior counsel, Richard practices in the firm's corporation, banking and business group. He has over two decades of experience living and practicing in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Tyner's legal experience in Saudi Arabia includes advising clients on formation of limited liability companies in the industrial and service sectors, formation of branch offices and professional companies, preparation of contracts for multijurisdictional transactions, advising on labor matters, litigation of disputes and arbitrations involving complex insurance claims, negotiation and termination of distributorships, and advising on competition law, environmental regulations and other aspects of Saudi law. Mr. Tyner has also practiced law in Jeddah, Paris and San Francisco.

Lead counsel for a major US company for establishment of a beverage factory in Saudi Arabia, including formation of an industrial limited liability company and preparation of all the contracts required for the construction and equipping of the factory.
Lead counsel for a major US conglomerate on the establishment of an entity in Saudi Arabia to sell the company's products, including formation of a sales limited liability company with a Saudi partner, and preparation of documents related thereto.
- Local counsel for a US conglomerate on the establishment of an industrial joint venture in Saudi Arabia to manufacture the company's products, including preparation of the joint venture agreement, articles of association and related agreements.
Lead counsel for a major US engineering company for establishing a Saudi limited liability company for project management and related activities.
Counsel to a European pharmaceutical company operating in Saudi Arabia regarding manufacturing issues, distribution issues and the potential formation of a new entity in Saudi Arabia to sell the company's products.
Counsel to numerous US, UK and European companies on Saudi labor issues, including Saudiization, block visas, employment contract issues and handling of disputes.
Counsel to numerous US, UK and European companies regarding entering into distribution agreements with Saudi distributors, including termination of distributors and assisting in litigation regarding such terminations.
