Biography
Mey Chiali is a litigation lawyer in our Montréal office whose practice spans civil and commercial disputes. Drawing on her experience in both civil- and common-law traditions at McGill University’s Faculty of Law, Mey offers a versatile perspective for complex mandates before the courts.
At McGill, Mey distinguished herself through her dedication to advocacy, culminating in her receipt of the John G. Ahern Memorial Award for best oralist and her leadership of a winning team at the Pierre-Basile-Mignault moot. Her team garnered both the Coupe de la Bâtonnière du Québec for best team and the Coupe Fasken for top pair.
Mey brings hands-on experience from a major global company headquartered in the province of Quebec, where she tackled cross-border and multi-jurisdictional commercial litigation. Her work with several McGill professors also sharpened her ability to break down intricate legal questions.
