Miaad Hamidy is a banking lawyer based in Amsterdam. He focuses on a broad range of finance transactions, including project finance, asset finance, leveraged finance, real estate finance and corporate finance. Furthermore, Miaad advises on restructurings, insolvency matters and distressed M&A transactions.

Prior to joining the Amsterdam banking team, Miaad worked as a dispute resolution and litigation lawyer for another large Dutch law firm based in Amsterdam. He handled a variety of commercial disputes relating to commercial agreements in the technology and supply chain sector, with a strong focus on representing clients in litigation relating to bankruptcy or insolvency.

Miaad studied Dutch law (LL.M. Business and Law – dual master) at the Radboud University Nijmegen. He also studied International Business Administration (M.Sc. Marketing Management, cum laude) at the Radboud University Nijmegen during which period he researched the potential of digitalisation to accelerate clean energy transitions across the Dutch energy sector.
