Talal Murtaza is a lawyer based in Calgary. His practice includes corporate and commercial litigation, labour and employment disputes, and regulatory matters. 

Talal summered in 2021 and completed his articles in 2023 at a major regional firm in Calgary. In his previous role, he regularly assisted clients with matters involving complex commercial litigation, contractual disputes, oil and gas, labour and employment, and regulatory law. 

During law school, Talal worked as a research assistant on the online teaching and learning initiative project to assist the law faculty with course redesign to make courses suitable for online instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic. Talal was also a student advocate at the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service and regularly represented students involved in academic and non-academic disputes with Dalhousie University.
