
Uju Ude
Biography
Uju Ude is a corporate law clerk based in the Ottawa office. She supports clients with incorporations, corporate maintenance, preparing routine corporate documentation to effect various corporate changes, extra-provincial and business name registrations, as well as a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions.
Before joining us, Uju practised law at a full-service firm in Nigeria from 2018 to 2022, where she was involved in mergers and acquisitions, corporate/commercial matters, and tax advisory work. She was also actively involved in pro bono corporate work where she assisted notable non-profits with incorporation in Nigeria, corporate maintenance and providing general corporate advisory services. Since moving to Canada, she has continued her legal career as a corporate law clerk, gaining hands-on experience in transactional work and corporate governance.
Uju assists with drafting corporate agreements, preparing resolutions and minute book updates, conducting due diligence, and coordinating closings. Her legal training and cross-jurisdictional experience allow her to approach each matter with precision and attention to detail, helping maintain the integrity of legal documentation and compliance.
