Biography
Sara Radzicka-Tolwaj is an energy and infrastructure lawyer based in Warsaw. She has a strong focus on regulatory and transactional aspects of the power and gas sectors. She is highly experienced in advising clients on regulatory changes and compliance matters, particularly those operating in the energy and infrastructure sectors, including companies owning or managing renewable energy, battery storage, and oil & gas projects.
She brings an in-depth understanding of EU and national energy law, having successfully led complex projects related to power market mechanisms, unbundling, battery storage, biogas/biomethane, and other renewable energy sources, as well as European Union (EU) energy legislation.
Sara has advised electricity distributors on grid connection conditions, statutory obligations of Distribution System Operators (DSOs), and reporting duties to the President of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO). She regularly drafts and reviews contracts for entities in the electricity and gas industries, prepares legislative proposals for major energy traders, and conducts due diligence on solar and wind energy projects.
She also supports clients entering the energy storage and biomethane sectors, offering pragmatic and business-oriented legal solutions tailored to the evolving complexities of the energy market.
Prior to joining the firm, Sara gained extensive experience at leading law firms in Poland.
