Hassan Shehata is a corporate and commercial lawyer in our Toronto office. He is developing a broad practice with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity, securities and corporate governance. 

While in law school, Hassan served as president of the University of Toronto Venture Capital Law Society and associate editor of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review. He also gained operational and investment experience at various growth-stage technology companies and venture capital firms. 

Prior to joining our Toronto office, Hassan practised corporate and securities law at a national law firm.
