Biography
Tanya heads up Norton Rose Fulbright's in-house Applied Legal Technology (ALT) team, who are responsible for providing specialist, technical document management and support across all kinds of legal work including:

document and data management support services including development and management of data preservation, collection, management, and review strategies for:

e-discovery;

requests to produce documents including subpoenas, requests from regulators such as ASIC, and parliamentary orders;

set up and management of secure online data rooms.

litigation support services including discovery, trial preparation, creation of witness packs, and hyperlinked witness statements and submissions;
Tanya and her team work closely with the firm's legal teams and clients to help ensure matters are run effectively and efficiently by recommending appropriate electronic solutions such as utilising databases and data rooms.

Managing large volumes of data from multiple sources for ongoing investigations for a large corporation.

Providing a large government client over a period of three years with document and data management support service in relation to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

Assist in the management and coordination of teams of paralegals who are redacting online for the purpose of advising client. This includes arranging for the digitalisation of frequently voluminous paper files, set up and administration of the database and finalising the redacted document sets.

Tanya and the ALT team supported the legal team in the Inquiry conducted by the Honourable P A Bergin SC into Crown Casino, managing the large volume of documents received from parties in response to summonses, supporting the hearings and the document review team.

Various large discoveries – Tanya has vast experience in large-scale document management having managed some of the largest discoveries undertaken where she has collected, processed, analysed and set up document review for millions of documents. All of these matters were managed in-house using Ringtail and a large team of paralegals to minimise costs. Early case assessment techniques are utilised to cull large data sets to a more manageable and relevant number of documents, also utilising Technology Assisted Review when appropriate.
